They did say that all content from micros would be avaliable for everyone just by playing the game and completing challanges so i say they just be sticking to their word. It's like they're really going out of their way to make the paid items worthless by giving it for free, simply by doing mundane tasks in the game. The daily and weekly challenges have been too generous to be anything but that. If anything, I say Monolith is giving a subtle middle finger to WB here.
It also doesn't help that a challenge finishable within five minutes rewards you with things bought with premium currency. Sure, the MTs are there, but adding to the public outrage, the existence of Mirian and the daily challenges makes MTs worthless anyway.
